investigation?
The investigation is a cooperative effort between
the U.S. Geological Survey-Water Resources Division and the
County.
- What is the objective
of the investigation?
The objective of this study is to collect
surface-water, ground-water, and rainfall data from select
stream basins within the County
- Does the investigation
include all of Loudoun County?
Not
all stream basins are included in the initial effort. Plans are
ongoing to expand and enlarge the network.
- When will the
investigation be completed?
To aide
in the understanding of the County's water resources, a long-term
data base of information is needed. Therefore, the
investigation is an ongoing long-range endeavor.
