                    Southampton County, VA, Hydrologic Unit 03010202.
DRAINAGE AREA.--613 square miles.
PERIOD OF RECORD.--August 1944 to current year.
DURATION STATISTIC COMPUTATION PERIOD.--All data through September 2015.
REGULATION.--Some regulation by dam and pumping station 1.4 mile above gage. Diversion of water 1.4 mile above gage. Reversed flow by tide some year, caution under 20 cfs.
GAGE OPERATION.--U.S. Geological Survey, Virginia Water Science Center.
