Obtaining Water-Quality Kits

The Virginia Department of Environmental Quality (DEQ) is distributing free water monitoring kits to anyone who is interested in participating. Each kit has the capability of performing up to 50 tests for dissolved oxygen, pH, turbidity, and temperature, enough to monitor numerous locations. Because quantities are limited, please only request the number of kits that you are sure to use. To order the kit(s), contact Patricia Carpin at DEQ by e-mail at pmcarpin@deq.virginia.gov. Please be sure to provide your mailing address along with the number of kits you would like to receive.
