Age Dating

DESCRIPTION:  
Collection of age dating sample.  Air operated pump is to the left and water-quality field meter is to the right.  Nitrogen gas used to operate the pump never contacts the sample water.  The sample water is isolated from the current atmosphere.  Contact with gases in the atmosphere at the time of sampling can cause errors in the different age-dating methods.  The water-quality field meter measures water temperature, specific conductance, dissolved oxygen, and pH of the spring water.
